Refunds & Cancellations Policy

This Refunds & Cancellations Policy applies to all photography services and digital products offered by The Weekend Creator.

1. No Returns (Digital & Service-Based Business)

Because we do not sell physical products, we do not offer returns under any circumstances.
Digital products are delivered instantly and therefore non-refundable.
Photography services involve holding a specific date and time, which means a traditional returns process does not apply.

2. Photography Service Deposits
2.1 Deposit Requirement

A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking.
Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been paid.

2.2 Is the Deposit Refundable?

We understand plans can change, but your deposit protects us against lost work and the inability to refill your slot.

Our policy is:

  • Cancellations made 14+ days before the scheduled shoot
    → Deposit is refundable.

  • Cancellations made 14 days or less
    → Deposit is non-refundable.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the shoot
    → Deposit is non-refundable, and the remaining balance may still be charged at our discretion.

This timeframe allows us a reasonable chance to rebook your slot.

3. Rescheduling Policy
We aim to be flexible and will allow:
  • One free reschedule if requested 7+ days before the shoot

  • Additional reschedules or requests made within 7 days may incur a fee

  • Rescheduling within 48 hours is treated as a cancellation and may require a new deposit

If we need to reschedule (illness, emergency, weather, equipment failure), you may choose:

  • A new date, or

  • A full refund of your deposit

4. No Refunds After Services Are Delivered

Once photography services have been completed and/or final images delivered, no refunds will be issued.

This includes dissatisfaction caused by:

  • Changing personal preference

  • Not liking poses, outfits, or expressions

  • Not preparing the location or individuals being photographed

  • Uncooperative weather or subjects
    (We will always do our best to guide you, but these elements are not fully in our control.)

5. Digital Products (Guides, Templates, Presets, etc.)
5.1 All Digital Downloads Are Final Sale

Because digital products cannot be “returned,” all sales are final and non-refundable.

5.2 Faulty or Non-Deliverable Files

If you experience:

  • A corrupted file

  • Download issues

  • Access errors

6. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

To cancel or request a refund (where eligible), email us at:

  • Your full name

  • Booking date

  • Reason for cancellation

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 working days of approval.
